॥ Aarti ॥

Aarti Kunj Bihari Ki, Shri Giridhar Krishna Murari Ki.

Meaning: We perform the aarti of the Lord who wanders in the groves of Vrindavan, who lifted the Govardhan hill, and who destroys all demons — Lord Krishna.

Gale Mein Vaijanti Mala, Bajavat Murali Madhur Bala.
Shravan Mein Kundal Jhalakala, Nand Ke Anand Nandlala.
Gagansam Ang Kanti Kali, Radhika Chamak Rahi Ali.
Latan Mein Thade Banmali.
Aarti Kunj Bihari Ki, Shri Giridhar Krishna Murari Ki.

Meaning: Wearing a Vaijanti garland, playing the sweet flute as a child, with earrings gleaming in his ears — he is Nanda’s beloved Nandlala. His complexion is dark as the sky, Radhika shines beside him, and the forest garland wearer stands among the vines.

Kanakamay Mor Mukut Bilse, Devata Darshan Ko Tarse.
Gagan Se Suman Raashi Barse, Baje Murchhang Madhur Mridang.
Gwalin Sang Atul Rati, Gopkumari Ki.
Aarti Kunj Bihari Ki, Shri Giridhar Krishna Murari Ki.

Meaning: A golden peacock crown adorns his head; even the gods long to behold him. Flowers shower from the heavens, murchhang and mridang play sweetly, and among the cowherd maidens there is unequalled joy.

Jahan Te Prakat Bhai Ganga, Kalush Kali Har Tan Gat Manga.
Shri Vishnu Pad Pankaj Anga, Badi Manohar Gati Ranga.
Rasik Vrindavan Vihari Ki.
Aarti Kunj Bihari Ki, Shri Giridhar Krishna Murari Ki.

Meaning: From whose lotus feet the Ganga emerged, washing away the sins of this age — the beautiful Ganga flows with grace from Lord Vishnu’s feet. This is the aarti of the divine reveller of Vrindavan.

Madan Mohan Payo Ri, Vrajvasi Hiye Basayo Ri.
Kaliyanag Nathai Ri, Jamuna Paar Utrai Ri.
Sakhiyan Sang Khelan Jai Ri.
Aarti Kunj Bihari Ki, Shri Giridhar Krishna Murari Ki.

Meaning: The enchanter of minds has been found! He has settled in the hearts of the people of Vraja. He tamed the Kaliya serpent, helped cross the Yamuna, and went to play with friends — this is the aarti of that beloved Lord Krishna.
